អំពី UWC

UWC (United World College) គឺជាចលនាសកលមួយដែលយកការអប់រំជាកម្លាំងក្នុងការរួបរួម មនុស្ស ជាតិសាសន៍ និងវប្បធម៌ ដើម្បីសន្តិភាព និងអនាគតដែលមានចីរភាព។ UWC ផ្តល់នូវការអប់រំថ្នាក់វិទ្យាល័យអន្តរជាតិ ដោយផ្តោតសំខាន់លើការយល់ដឹងអន្តរជាតិ និងការចែករំលែកវប្បធម៍ រវាងសិស្សនិងសិស្ស។ ដោយមានទីតាំងនៅ ១៨ប្រទេស ស្ថិតលើ៤ទ្វីប វិទ្យាល័យ UWC ផ្តល់ជូននូវការអប់រំដែល មានភាពប្រកួតប្រជែង និងជម្រុញអោយមានការផ្លាស់ប្តូរដល់សិស្សជាង ៩៥០០ នាក់ ជារៀងរាល់ឆ្នាំ។

UWC មានផ្តល់អាហារូបករណ៍ចំនួន ៥ កន្លែងដល់សិស្សកម្ពុជា ដែលមានអាយុចាប់ពី ១៦ ឆ្នាំ ដល់ ១៨ ឆ្នាំ សម្រាប់ឆ្នាំ ២០២៤ ដល់ឆ្នាំ ២០២៦។ កម្រិតនៃជំនួយខាងហិរញ្ញវត្ថុ សម្រាប់អាហារូបករណ៍នីមួយៗ នឹងត្រូវបានកំណត់នៅពេលក្រោយ។ សាលាអាចនឹងជួយឧបត្ថម្ភពេញនូវថ្លៃសិក្សា ថ្លៃស្នាក់នៅ ថ្លៃចុះឈ្មោះពេលប្រលងបាក់ឌុបអន្តរជាតិ និងថ្លៃធ្វើដំណើរចុះកម្មវិធីសិក្សាផ្សេងៗ ដោយអាស្រ័យទៅលើ ការវាយតំលៃហិរញ្ញវត្ថុ និងជីវភាពនៃគ្រួសាររបស់សិស្ស។ ការផ្គត់ផ្គង់បន្ថែម ដែលប្រហែលជា តម្រូវអោយគ្រួសារចូលរួមចំណែក មានដូចជា ការចំណាយទៅលើ Project Weeks (កម្មវិធីសិក្សារយៈពេល ១ សប្តាហ៍ ដែលសិស្សនឹងចូលរួមពេលទៅ UWC) និង ប្រាក់សម្រាប់ចាយវាយផ្ទាល់ខ្លួន ក៏ដូចជាការធ្វើដំណើរផ្សេងៗ។

ដំណើរការនៃការដាក់ពាក្យ

សិស្សដែលមានលក្ខណះសម្បត្តិគ្រប់គ្រាន់តាមល័ក្ខខ័ណ្ឌខាងលើ អាចដាក់ពាក្យតាមអនឡាញ ដោយឥតគិតថ្លៃ។ ដំណើរការដាក់ពាក្យគឺពិតជាសាមញ្ញណាស់ ដោយគ្រាន់តែធ្វើទៅដូចខាងក្រោម៖

ជំហានទី១៖ ចូលទៅក្នុងគេហទំព័រនេះ bit.ly/uwc-cambodia-2yrs-apply-2024-2026

ជំហានទី២៖ បំពេញចម្លើយលើគ្រប់សំនួរទាំងអស់ ហើយបន្ទាប់មក ចុចលើពាក្យ "Submit". សូមបញ្ជាក់ថា ការដាក់ពាក្យនេះក៏ត្រូវបានរាប់បញ្ចូលជាចំណែក ក្នុងការវាយតម្លៃជ្រើសរើស បេក្ខជនចូលទៅវគ្គសម្ភាសន៍។ ដូចនេះសូមសរសេរចម្លើយឲ្យបានក្បោះក្បាយ។

ជំហានទី៣៖ អ្នកនឹងទទួលបានសារជូនដំណឹងពីការដាក់ពាក្យ ក្នុងប្រអប់សាររបស់អ្នក ប្រសិនបើ អ្នកប្រើអាស័យដ្ឋានអុីមែលដែលមានសុពលភាព និងពិតជាបានបញ្ចប់នូវការបំពេញពាក្យរបស់អ្នក។ សូមចូលមើលក្នុងប្រអប់សារ spam/junk ប្រសិនបើអ្នកមិនទទួលបាន សារជូនដំណឹងក្នុងប្រអប់សារគោល។ លុះត្រាតែអ្នកទទួលបានអុីម៉ែលបញ្ជាក់ពីអុីមែលស្វ័យប្រវត្តិពី Google Form ទើបអាចបញ្ជាក់ថា អ្នកពិតជាបានដាក់ពាក្យដោយជោគជ័យ។

កំណត់សម្គាល់៖

មានតែការដាក់ពាក្យតាមអនឡាញ ប៉ុណ្ណោះ នឹងត្រូវបានទទួលយក។ បេក្ខជនត្រូវមាន អាស័យដ្ឋានអុីមែលដែលមានសុពលភាព ដើម្បីដាក់ពាក្យក្នុងកម្មវិធី អាហារូបករណ៍ មួយនេះ។
បេក្ខជនមួយរូប សូមធ្វើការផ្ញើរពាក្យតែម្តងប៉ុណ្ណោះ។
Google Form មួយនេះ ត្រូវបានកំណត់អោយផ្ញើរ ច្បាប់ចម្លងនៃពាក្យ ទៅ អាស័យដ្ឋានអុីមែល របស់ បេក្ខជនដោយស្វ័យប្រវត្តិ ដើម្បីជាការបញ្ជាក់ថា គណះកម្មការ បានទទួល ពាក្យ របស់បេក្ខជន ហើយ។ ដូច្នេះហើយ ប្រសិនបើ អ្នកមិនបានទទួល នូវច្បាប់ចម្លង នៃពាក្យ របស់ខ្លួន ក្រោយការដាក់ពាក្យហើយទេ នោះមានន័យថា អាស័យដ្ឋានអុីមែល ដែលអ្នកផ្តល់អោយ ពុំមានសុពលភាពឡើយ។ ក្នុងករណីនេះ សូមមេត្តា បេក្ខជនទៅពិនិត្យមើល អាស័យដ្ឋានអុីមែល របស់ខ្លួនម្តងទៀត ហើយ ធ្វើការ ដាក់ពាក្យសាជាថ្មី។
បេក្ខជនអាច កែប្រែឫផ្លាស់ប្តូរចម្លើយរបស់ខ្លួន ពេលណាក៏បាន ក្រោយការដាក់ពាក្យ តែត្រូវធ្វើឡើង មុនថ្ងៃទី៣១ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ២០២៣ ដែលជាថ្ងៃផុតកំណត់ ដោយប្រើ link ដែលបានផ្តល់ អោយក្នុង អុីមែលបញ្ជាក់។ សូមធ្វើការពិនិត្យថា អ្នកបានផ្តល់ អុីមែលមួយ ដែលត្រឹមត្រូវ។

ថ្ងៃផុតកំណត់

ការដាក់ពាក្យ ត្រូវបានបើក ចាប់ពីថ្ងៃទី ១ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ ២០២៣ ដល់ ថ្ងៃទី៣១ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ ២០២៣។ ពាក្យដែលដាក់ក្រោយថ្ងៃកំណត់នេះ នឹងមិនទទួលយកឡើយ។

ដំណើរការនៃការជ្រើសរើស

វគ្គទី១៖ ព័ត៌មានបន្ថែម

ក្រោយការដាក់ពាក្យ គណះកម្មការអាចនឹងអុីមែលបេក្ខជននូវ សំនួរមួយចំនួន បន្ថែមទៀត ពីពាក្យ របស់បេក្ខជន ដើម្បីអោយបេក្ខជន បំពេញនូវភារកិច្ចខ្លីមួយអនឡាញ។ បេក្ខជនទាំងអស់ នឹង ត្រូវបានអុីមែលដោយផ្ទាល់ តាមរយះអាស័យដ្ឋានអុីមែល ដែលបេក្ខជនប្រើដើម្បីបំពេញពាក្យ នៅរវាងថ្ងៃទី១៥ ខែកុម្ភ ឆ្នាំ ២០២៤ ។

លទ្ធផលប្រលងរបស់ បុគ្គលនីមួយៗ នឹងមិនត្រូវបានផ្សព្វផ្សាយជាសាធារណះឡើយ ប៉ុន្តែបេក្ខជននីមួយៗ នឹងត្រូវ បានទាក់ទង តាមអ៊ីមែល ដើម្បីផ្តល់ដំណឹងថា តើពួកគេត្រូវបានជ្រើសរើសទៅកាន់វគ្គបន្តដែរឫទេ។

វគ្គទី២៖ ថ្ងៃប្រកួតប្រជែង

បេក្ខជនចំនួន ២៥ នាក់ នឹងត្រូវបានអញ្ជើញ អោយចូលរួមក្នុង ថ្ងៃប្រកួតប្រជែង ដែលនឹង ធ្វើឡើង នៅថ្ងៃទី២ ខែមិនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៤។ ពេលវេលា ទីកន្លែង ក៏ដូចជាទ្រង់ទ្រាយនៃសកម្មភាពទាំងនេះ នឹងត្រូវបានអុីមែលផ្ទាល់ទៅដល់ បេក្ខជនជ្រើសរើស។

វគ្គទី៣៖ សម្ភាសន៍ជាមួយនឹងបេក្ខជន

បេក្ខជនចំនួន ១៥ នាក់ នឹងត្រូវបានអញ្ជើញ អោយទៅសម្ភាស នៅទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញ នៅថ្ងៃទី៣ ខែមិនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៤។ ពេលវេលា និង ទីកន្លែង ក៏ដូចជា ទ្រង់ទ្រាយនៃការសម្ភាសន៍ នឹងត្រូវបាន អុីមែលផ្ទាល់ទៅដល់ បេក្ខជនជ្រើសរើស។

About UWC

UWC (United World Colleges) is a global education movement that makes education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future. UWC offers an International Baccalaureate education to students with a high emphasis placed on international understanding and the sharing of cultures. Set in 18 countries on 4 continents, UWC Colleges deliver a challenging and transformational education to over 9,500 students each year.

Five up to fully funded (need-based) scholarships are offered to Cambodian students aged 16 to 18 years old for the academic year 2024 - 2026. The actual level of financial assistance for each scholarship is to be determined. You can find more details in the table below. The schools or colleges may cover up to full tuition, room and board, books, IB exam registration fees, curricular field trips, subject to a review of family's capability to contribute to their child’s education. Additional family contribution may be required for Project Weeks, pocket money and/or travel allowance.

Successful candidates will join the respective colleges between August - September 2024.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be Cambodian citizens.
Applicants must have been born between January 1, 2006, and August 31, 2008.
Applicants must currently be attending high school in grade 11 and 12 in Cambodia.
Applicants must have a valid personal email address.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants must be well suited for UWC mission and values.
Applicants must have sufficient written and spoken English skills.
Applicants must demonstrate critical thinking abilities and academic potential.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate other extracurricular interests and the positive impact that being awarded the scholarship would have on the successful candidate and their wider community.

Application Process

Eligible and qualified applicants are invited to submit an online application form free of charge. The process is as follows:

Step 1: Go to bit.ly/uwc-cambodia-2yrs-apply-2024-2026.

Step 2 : Fill in all the details and then click on "Submit". Please note that the application form is used as part of the selection process when deciding which candidates are called to interview, so please answer in detail where appropriate.

Step 3 : You will receive a notification of application submission in your inbox if you enter a valid e-mail address and submit the application form. Please check the spam/junk box if you don't see the notification e-mail in your main inbox. Unless you receive a confirmation from the automatic Google Form email, you have not submitted the form.

Note:

Only online applications are accepted. Candidates are required to have a valid email address to apply for this scholarship program.
Please submit only ONE application per candidate.
This Google Form is set to automatically send a copy of the application to the email address provided below to confirm that the application has been received by the UWC Cambodia national committee. If you do not receive a copy of your confirmation email from selection@kh.uwc.org, this means the email address you provided is invalid. In this case, candidates should double-check their email and submit a new application.
Candidates may edit/change their answers after submission anytime before the application deadline on December 31, 2023, using the link provided in the confirmation email. Please ensure you provide your correct email.
Candidates are responsible for making sure that their applications are submitted correctly and on time.

Deadline

This application is open from December 1, 2023, and will be closed on December 31, 2023. Applications received after this date will NOT be accepted.

Selection Process

Stage 1: Further Information

From the application forms, candidates may be emailed a list of further questions about their applications and asked to complete a short online task. All candidates will be notified of application results via email by February 15, 2024.

Individual results are not published, but all candidates will be contacted by email to inform them whether they are being considered for the next stage of the selection process.

Stage 2: Challenge Day

25 candidates will be invited to the Challenge Day on March 2, 2024. The exact time, venue, and format of these activities will be emailed directly to the interviewees.

Stage 3: Interview

15 candidates will be invited to interviews in Phnom Penh on March 3, 2024. The exact time, venue, and format of these interviews will be emailed directly to the interviewees.

The UWC Cambodia selection committee looks for the following attributes in students:

Intellectual curiosity and motivation
Active commitment
Social competence
Resilience, personal responsibility, and integrity
Motivation for UWC
Ability to represent Cambodia to the international community
